A third of owners of large Czech companies are considering a sale within five years

31 % of the entrepreneurs surveyed are thinking about leaving the business and selling the company within five years; among those who started out between 1996 and 2005 it is 35 %. The survey covered over a hundred Czech companies with average annual turnover above 500 million koruna.

Editor's note. The wave of company sales is announced by a bank that sits on such deals as both adviser and financier. Who was asked and about what is not given; this is the first edition, so there is nothing to compare it with.

A first-grader's kit at 3300 koruna, and a bill parliament will decide on

The release joins two things: school supplies cost around 3300 koruna, almost half of that the satchel, and an unexpected expense of 16,800 koruna is beyond a fifth of Czech households. Parliament meanwhile is to decide whether people lent money without proper checks keep today's statutory protection.

Editor's note. Behind the text is a law firm that lives off unchecked loans. The figures of 3,300 and 16,800 koruna rest on „publicly available sources“ with nothing more specific, and on the amendment it talks about the consequence, not the clause.

Editor's note. The card market here is described by the trade body of banks and card companies. Concrete figures are absent from this section, and the comparison with Europe comes from nowhere stated.
